Lonergan, 77, of Norton passed away in the comfort of his home on Sunday December 5, He was the beloved husband of Lucille D. Landolfi Lonergan to whom he was wed on May 29, Sanborn Lonergan. Richard grew up in Dedham and was educated in Dedham public schools. Lonergan was a retired Truck Driver.
He formerly had worked as an automotive mechanic for General Motors. A communicant of St. Lonergan enjoyed building projects around his home and tending to the maintenance of his yard. He loved spending time in the presence of his adoring family, especially with his grandchildren and also liked dancing and playing the harmonica.
In addition to his beloved wife of 39 years, he is survived by his devoted children Michael W.
